California is much like Europe, they are having to import oil and gasoline from overseas because refineries keep closing in the Golden State.
California consumers with producing oil wells pay higher prices for gasoline than any other US state, more even than Hawaii.

Yes, Trump is helping out domestic oil companies by taking Iranian oil wells offline.
