But the left’s answer is to pay teachers more money instead of digging into what they are actually teaching. Government run education will always fail because of politics.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

This kind of crap is a plague that has been spreading across the country. Guess who these freaks vote for.

The vetting process for teaching at a facility SHOULD BE standardized. Is it not? (i don't have children)

Good question, I think you are supposed to be vetted to teach in a state, but two of my nieces were hired to teach in elementary schools without the proper accreditation because schools are so desperate for teachers right now.

Time to raise pay and benefits to attract more talent?

Does it not depend in who is creating the standard? Would Christians who don’t believe there are 50 different genders have a much different standards than athiests that believe there are. Democrats alone have created the standards, which is why kids no longer test well in any subject that they really need to get through life. Learning that white people are the source of everything that’s bad is wrong, and thats just one of the evil lessons being taught.

The JFK Democrats are all dying off.

at a private school...i COULD SEE UR POINT,BUT PUBLIC SCHOOLS should be required to have a fixed standard, YES, pay is the primary reason for the fiasco....when a teacher has to purchase school supplies out of their own pocket (for the class)...we have a problem Houston.

Do you know that the US spends more per student than any other country on the planet? Government schools are not failing because we don’t dump enough money into them, they are failing because our government fails at everything and there is no accountability for poor performance. Teachers unions have made merit pay impossible, which is a requirement for every other business that is successful. If teachers were paid based on performance, the best teachers would be paid well and the worst would be looking for different careers.
