President Trump thinks he can get Iran to surrender without deploying ground troops. Maybe.
A lot depends on how much of leadership has been destroyed. Japan gave up after two nukes. I doubt America will nuke Iran.
America is sending special forces to help Kurds in northern Iran fight the IRGC, and the Baluchi minority in the Southeast is also fighting the Iranian Revolutionary Guards. Add in those who support the Shah and also those who want democracy, the mullahs could be overthrown.
