A lot depends on how much of leadership has been destroyed. Japan gave up after two nukes. I doubt America will nuke Iran.

Weeks, months, years? Long is subjective.

Oil prices have not gone up because of a supply problem. Speculation drove them up and they will come down when we leave the region. i predict no longer than 90 days.
