I find it comical that Collins and Murkowski, female senators, are holding up the nomination of Casey Means, M.D., female, to be surgeon general. They know very little or less about medicine and public health. I watched the hearings on CSPAN and their questions risible.
As to the title of this thread many years ago, a female employee, who was fluent in French, made a remark while two female employees were arguing; asking her the translation she said "friendship between females is a temporary cessation of hostilities". Sounds much better in French.
I love the line that men will openly denigrate each other but laugh about it afterwards, whereas women will compliment each other, but once separated, will denigrate the others.
My sister used to do that. She would spend an afternoon with her friends and then hate on them for an hour after they were gone
And the best case? White women preferred Donald Trump to both Kamala Harris and Hillary Clinton.
Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
the truth is....IT IS REALLY HARD TO FIND A FEMALE COMPANION...long term like Oprah and Gale, it takes a very special quality to be 'sistas"....women can be two faced and THAT is a hard one to handle.
I think this is a political thing, rather than a woman thing. Both Murkowski and Collins are worthless “moderates” that often feel the need to stop Republican progress. Collins is in a blue state so I can understand her desire to defy Trump at any good opportunity, but not Murkowski. I’m not sure how long she will last in Alaska, but I think it’s long past time for her to get the boot.
Means could be any color or gender and these two women would do the same thing when there’s ZERO support by Democrats. They both need to keep their system membership cards active.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
THIS may be political, but i was speaking of everyday life....I had a "bff" for 20 some odd years, (I thought),but when it cam down to A NEED THAT I MIGHT HAVE HAD.....that was inconvenient....it was a one way street.... MY problem,I thought friendship was two way...it took me way too long to realize i was allowing it.(she was calling me ,at least three times a day, with some issue or just to vent).....I was privy to her childhood up bringing,so I was tolerant.... SILLY ME..
I’m married and have two daughters so I know a lot about how different men and women are when it comes to friends. Men seem to much better at letting go of past disagreements, but women seem to hang on to them and hold grudges longer. I’m sure it’s a human nature difference that’s built in for done reason.
