The real victory for common sense and better run states would be IF the people moving from blue states stop voting for Democrats who ruin the blue states. It’s like cancer cells thinking they are helping the body, but end up killing it.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

I would urge young people who are flexible; move to a state with no state income tax. As one gets older and has a family and roots it is more difficult. Yet, once the kids are out of the nest, retirees are in the flexible position. There are 9 states that fit the bill.
Alaska, Florida, Nevada, New Hampshire, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, and Wyoming.
When, not if, Colorado institutes a wealth tax, there will be a much greater exodus.
As an aside, it is rich that Kathy Hochul, governor of NY, told Republicans in 2022, that they were not needed in "her" state. Now she is pleading for them to return to NY in order to bolster the. tax revenue.

Cheyenne, WY is booming, expect exponential growth as Colorado becomes more desperate for tax dollars to fund its social programs.

Nothing has been more entertaining than watching Hochul begging for millionaires to return in order to support her “generous” welfare programs, especially after she told them to F off.

"The study ranks New York 50th out of 51 for overall tax burden, estimating that a median-income household pays nearly $12,000 a year in combined state and local taxes — roughly 36% higher than the national average. Only Illinois ranks worse". secretnyc.co/new-york-tax-burden-ranking-2026/

Good luck with getting Floridians, formerly of N.Y to come back. It gets even better in NYC, add 3.9% to that.

Once the rich leave, their tax burden will fall on the middle class. Deep Blue States have massive pension obligations they have to fulfill.
And also a declining base of workers as the fertility rate continues to decline.
