So happy to see that humans will be leaving Low Earth Orbit for the first time since the early 70's. Congratulations NASA. Eventually they plan to pur a permanent base on the Moon.

thanks for posting this,I have not been in the loop for space travel...I am hoping to be home for liftoff....it's GOOD to see something other than TRUMP AND HIS TACO TRENDS

GO/NO GO...was a foreign phrase to me...then I saw Hidden Figures and Kathryn manually calculating the numeric s and arc and THEN, I was in awe. The extreme need for accuracy was so well depicted and the movie will be one of my most favs.

Lift-off tonight!

According to WSJ, interest in astronomy and even astrology are rising combined with the blockbuster movie, Project Holy Mary.

Literally going where no human has gone before! They are going deeper into space than the Apollo Astronauts in the early 70's.

It is good to see NASA appear to be relevant again. We all like to see human faces attached to projects such as this. However, SpaceX and Elon Musk have shown that a human cannot do what a robot can do in space. Robots do not need to be fed, do not need lavatory facilities, can work 24 hrs in a day. As much as I am excited by the space travel, it is too little too late for the need to have humans orbiting the moon other than public relations.
To reinforce this we see a female member and a black member. No mention. of his parents. He is an Obama black?
Why is it important to publicize that he is black?

Great shot of the Artemis II launch. Maybe one day those kids will travel to our Moon or perhaps even Mars.

THIS shot reminds me of the tv show The Wonder Years...nostalgia

What I don;'t understand..WHY aren't they landing on the moon, all the prepping and time and effort,we should have made a "pit stop"

Apollo 10 did the same thing. Circled the Moon. A dress rehearsal?

I applaud NASA's efforts to get humans back unto the moon. Even though I am proud of the launch and mission,(See my posting in the LivingRoom) the future of space exploration is with robotics.
For example, there would not have been the delay because a toilet malfunctioned. (humor).
