Americans: Lonely Or They Want To Be Alone?

I used to always have a radio going or hanging out but now prefer the silence.

I have always liked music festivals, fairs,exhibits..things to GO TO,but i prefer a quiet and low keyed atmosphere at home, silence is a rare thing,especially if u r not in the mtns.....I do have to say...SO FAR the hood I am in ,is quiet. BUT, we have new homes going in ...4 new households, so I hope they r lovers of quiet also...(and the dark)...r location is relatively without street lights.
