Congratulations on your retirement.
What needs to be known is that breakdown of the numbers. For example, how man other 51 y.o,'s make up this demographic of Men not Working.
And 45% of Female American Adults don't work. If it wasn't for the boom in the amount of gay people we would see a baby boom with all these men and women staying home.
Who would have imagined in 1950 that women would graduate college in higher numbers than men, and be hired in 2026 at higher numbers, significantly higher.

I’ll be turning 64 this year and have no intention of ever sitting in a chair and not working. However, I will start collecting SS instead of waiting for the higher percentage. I’ll make a lot more money with that money than I will waiting for the higher amount. I just started an appliance repair business that I’ll easily be able to do well into my 70s, if I don’t die first.
Our government needs to stop incentivizing government dependency, which will NEVER happen with a Democrat government that can only survive if there are enough people holding their hands out.

I believe if u take soc. sec. (at any age) there is an income limit u r allowed before they start reducing your
benefit...check in to it....u have to stay UNDER/AT the amount or u r screwed.
I’m aware of the limit on how much I can make, but it’s still worth it. I’ll go right up to the limit, then just limit the number of jobs I take. I will of course report ever bit of cash I receive for services rendered because I know how competent our bloated government is when it comes to tracking down people who try to avoid paying taxes.

Just curious , will it be an LLC? My brother's business gives him a tremendous tax write off and he stays at the edge of legal. never been audited....he should be retiring the business, but with tax write offs he stays at hugging the black line, when it goes to red, he will close it down.... he is 70 and should be streamlining his life, but like u,he will ALWAYS have to many projects to juggle and dos not plan on "kicking back into retirement." ...4 heart problems later and a pacemaker he is super over extended and
as his sister, it concerns me...NOPE, NOT CHANGING.
