I'm thinking that has to be overall inflation, including fuel, and not core inflation. Which, given how much we love our cars, makes sense. I think the latest core inflation numbers are in the mid-2s, which would indicate an easing of inflation overall once fuel costs return to normal.
Correct, this doesn't cover the recent decline in oil prices as OPEC finds other ways to get product to market. Nigeria is currently rolling in the dough.
