Great question! Maybe they are having to get their opiates off the street because their doctors and government are too stingy?

I was thinking more of marijuana in the Boomer generation. Never considered opiates. I agree that there are many 65+ who obtain Oxycodone/Oxycontin on the street. MD's are reluctant to prescribe and. certainly some patients have become addicted to opiates as well as patients with genuine pain issues.
Difficult to see the size of this problem. The percentages need to show the actual numbers.
