Is AI A Bad Idea?

Ten years left to live your life. How do you plan to spend that time?

Never mind, Claude tells me to not worry so much

Read an article online yesterday about some hikers who used AI to plan their route to climb a 14k mountain in California and figure out what supplies were needed and how much time it would take . . . yeppers, they had to be rescued and spent a night at about 11k without water, food, or any shelter at all.

Moral of the story . . . AI isn't a good substitute for knowledge and experience in the natural world.
