I think I remember reading something about the Super El Niño setting up some sort of a wind shear that would significantly hamper the ability of a storm to organize into a hurricane . . .

Not to worry though, too many hurricanes in a season and no hurricanes at all are both the result of global climate change.

I hope I didn't jinx Florida and the Caribbean!

Has to really help the poverty-stricken nations of the region to not have to rebuild this year.
