Here come the fees and layoffs of the lower and middle class

They love to say no new taxes but the lower and middle class will be paying a lot more fees due to the policies of theis administration. Here is another one. Anyone with an IQ over their shoe size knew that all these new regulations and expenses would be passed on to the consumers. Obama loves to claim he is doing this for the middle and lower class but in essence he is screwing them the worst. Plus they said in the next 12 months they will begin laying off people to try and cut down costs.

Let me get this straight. I thought Obama said his policies would help 'create' new jobs, and 'lower' costs for consumers? Why is it that it is doing exactly what all the Republicans and economists said it would. 'Losing' jobs and costing the lower and middle class 'more' money?

Bank of America warns of new fees after financial reforms

Bank of America will charge clients new monthly fees if their accounts do not meet a minimum balance, the bank's CEO Brian Moynihan said on Tuesday.

"We will increase the account balance minimums or charge monthly fees in lieu thereof, which is the choice of the customer," Moynihan said at a Barclays Capital conference in New York.

"Over the next 12 months, we will reset the entire product line." Bank of America has recently introduced a new account, called e-account, offering reduced fees for customers using automated services, while reducing the number of branches and staff in a bid to cut down costs, he added.

And the increase in health care premiums due to Obamacare's extra regulations will also take a bigger chunk out of paychecks.

Here's a recent article about how health care costs will rise due to the "health care reform law". This is just the beginning of rising costs tied directly to government involvement.

U.S. health care costs will increase between 10.5% and 11% over the next year, marginally higher than the rises during the past two years, but lower than cost increases earlier in the decade, consulting firm Aon (AON) said in a report released Wednesday. Aon pins next year's increase on factors such as rising prescription drug costs and the health care reform law enacted this past spring,

HMO, POS and PPO health plan costs will rise 10.5%, 10.6% and 10.7% respectively over the next 12 months, compared to 10.4% 10.4% and 10.7% a year earlier, Aon said, noting that health care cost increases have actually declined since the 13% to 16% growth rates during the middle part of the decade.

The health care reform law, which President Obama signed in March, is expected to add between 2% and 5% to costs over the next three years, Aon said. Prescription drug costs will increase 8.4%, while expenses related to specialty pharmacy products will surge 14%.

Add up all the other fees and regulations - and the middle and lower income Americans get squeezed - and squeezed some moe.

We have trust insurance, aka non profit. Talking to our board of directors, 40% of our increase this year is due to the first mandates of obamacare. Yes, the rate increases are less than at the beginning of the decade, but that is just because healthcare jumped radically in costs at that time.

Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!

Here's some more good news for the lower and middle class just out today.

Funny- I was watching that socialist news program on PBS yesterday (communism now AKA democracy now) and they were saying just the opposite of what this census bureau repost says.

"The nation's poverty rate jumped to 14.3% in 2009, its highest level since 1994, and the 43.6 million Americans in need is the highest number in 51 years of record-keeping, the government said Thursday.

The Office of Management and Budget defined the poverty threshold level as less than $21,954 for a family of four in 2009 and $10,956 for an individual. The poverty rate increased for all racial groups except Asians."

And what are the Asians doing right that the rest of us are doing wrong?

"The Census Bureau released data that illustrates just how tough 2009 was, " President Obama said in a statement.

"Even before the recession hit, middle class incomes had been stagnant and the number of people living in poverty in America was unacceptably high, and today's numbers make it clear that our work is just beginning," the president added.

And who's policies were we subjected to in 2009 Mr Obama?
Yes - your work is just beginning Mr Obama!!

I guess it must be Bush's fault.

So what is it? Socialism or Communism? They're sort of different, you know? Or do you? Oh wait, you're using them as insults! How clever! Bravo! Carry on, then!

Correct! There are many banks, CU's and S&L's around. Fire those that add fees to your statement. I do most of my banking with a CU and my ATM fees are zero.
