Regarding GOP pledges and promises

What would be really great is that all those running for reelection, lose and we get all new ones. (Damn and then I woke up). Both the Republicans and Democrats up in Washington need to pull their heads out of thier ass and realize that this country is in big trouble.

I'd really like to see those on this site who like to drag the likes of Limbaugh, Beck, et al, through the dirt and do nothing but call them names all the time to step up to the plate like the adults they supposedly are, and cite facts to back up what they feel is not true, instead of just childishly calling them names all the time...act your ages, have some decency and integrity, or STFU !!!

I googled Glenn Beck Lies and my computer nearly crashed from so many results. Go look yourself. Try youtube first.

I enjoy both Stewart's and Colbert's take on current events. They are just as informative as either of the 2 twits mentioned above but don't try to pass off what they do as "News".

I will STFU now.

Your sources are for the most part highly biased and suspect...A lot of what you call lies is misinterpretation and personal opinion - there is a difference. Having a different opinion is not the same as lying. I see you pushing info. that you want to push to back up your beliefs, and because theirs is different than yours, you call it lying...when it isn't. I guarantee you that if you were to get a hold of Beck's staff, and you said you had proof he lies, they would get you on the show with your " proof "...

Anybody that considers Limbaugh or Beck as 'news' is an idiot. I find them entertaining occasionally, but I know they aren't presenting 'news' any more than Stewart or Colbert.

They're all entertainers, and I find it funny when someone takes them seriously. It's also fun to parrot Limbaugh in political discussions and watch the liberal's blood pressure rise.

That's why I said they're "comedians... Not necessarily intentionally so, but comedians nonetheless." What they serve up is not news.

So, back on topic.

I read the republican pledge, and it has problems. But, it's considerably closer to what I believe the country needs than the current democratic platform regarding fiscal policy.

I'm hopeful because one of the major parties is talking like they're heading my way.

I'm intelligent enough to know they're politicians and are lying through their damn teeth in order to get my vote.

I'm one very disillusioned voter. If the process of running for office didn't require public knowledge of the most intimate details of my entire family's life I might consider running.

It'd be the only way to make sure that I'm represented by my beliefs.

But I can't do that to my family.

So I have no choice but to vote for the rat-bastard who's lies closest match my beliefs.
