As I read it, Ref. 1A would prohibit the establishment of any new medical marijuana centers in unincorporated Park County that WERE NOT in existence prior to July 1, 2010. In other words, no new centers in unincorporated Park County. A yes vote would be in favor of no new centers.
Ref. 1B, would impose a 4% sales tax on all medical marijuana and paraphernalia sold in Park County with the proceeds to be used for the adequate enforcement of medical marijuana regulations. The wording also includes that the tax could be used for “other general purposes of the county.” A yes vote would be in favor of the tax.
That's how I see it. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
