I saw this print last week when I visited Lincoln's birthplace and childhood home near Louisville, KY. It left me feeling overhelmed wiith sadness.

Another awe inspiring place to go is Gettysburgh< PA. When you see how close each side was to each other and when you see the homes of the underground railroad and when you walk the batllefields of Gettysburgh, you can't but wonder what courage and inspiration those people had towards defending freedom and the abolition of slavery.
