Cool. Then as we put more and more people in prison, our economy will grow...... And more people will get off the streets and have room and board. I love it when governmental programs contribute money (tens of millions) to our economy.

Prisons remain one of the growth industries in this nation as sentences get longer and 3 strikes continues.

I visited the old women's prison in Canon City and was surprised to see how short sentences were in the 1880's. 5 years for murder was typical. Now they hand out life sentences like candy.
