The shrinking power of Sarah Palin's fairy dust...

Sarah Palin has been called the new face of conservative politics and a possible Republican presidential candidate. But, lately, she's made a series of controversial endorsements that has political analysts and even some Republican strategists questioning "the shrinking powers of Palin's fairy dust." Vaughn Ward, her gaffe-prone pick for the Idaho congressional GOP primary went down in flames despite a 6-to-1 fundraising advantage and an "11th hour" Palin intervention — and her pick for governor in South Carolina, Nikki Haley, has been embroiled in accusations that she had an affair with a political blogger. Is Palin damaging her own image with ill-considered alliances?

She was done with politics the day she quit the governorship. Her goal right now is to make as much money on the book and speaking tour as she can before she fades away into the sunset.

I still stay that ANY woman that can bag, gut & cook a moose is alright with me.
IMO, Nancy P. has her servants, set up mouse traps, and doesn't want to hear about it. She would have them bait the traps with Brie though.

Interesting. I would think not dropping out of things would be more important to you.

I have to agree with Grady.

Sure. Palin knows she only has a few minutes left so she is going to make the most of them. (Maybe she can wrangle a cabinet posistion out of Romney if he wins?)
But talking about endorsements backfiring, she still has a better record than Obama.

Bush had the same problem his second term. Obama is now the incumbent. People almost always want the incumbent out, no matter which party the incumbent represents.

Don't misunderstand, Wayne.
I said she's alright by me, doesn't mean I would vote for her, doesn't mean I wouldn't that's personal.

If a republican were to win the presidency in 2012 (still a big IF), and Palin showed up on the cabinet (or as an ambassador), that would probably mean she got the job in return for not running for president on the Tea Party which would of made it near impossible for a republican to beat Obama.

Oh wait, that couldn't be. That would be illegal...

I could see her as Interior Secretary. Honestly. She has the background, coming from Alaska.
