Liberal Reporter Thug Threatens Journalist Over Rahm Questio

"Journalism" (writing consisting of direct presentation of facts or occurrences with no attempt at analysis or interpretation) is dead in America. Doesn't exist. Self-described "Journalists" are as phoney as used car salesmen who try to make you believe they're telling the truth about a vehicle's history. Don't believe what is said or written by a "journalist". None of them can "report" without interjecting their personal ideologies. And the further they rise--from local news and events, to national, to global--the more corrupt their "reporting" becomes.

No. Actually, I can remember when impartial, honest reporting was done. It just doesn’t exist today. The owners of the media make sure of it. Don’t write/report along the company line? You’re fired!

And egotistical, self-absorbed "journalists" eager to see thier names on a by-line, or faces on the tube are all too ready to cast integrity aside in attempts to claw their way to the "top" of their profession.

FOX has shown that biased reporting pays off and people flock to it. The guy in this video at the top of this thread is another example of bias.

But impartial reporting was not around when our country was founded. That's what I was referring to. Broadsheets and Penny newspapers all had a slant. It's also what our founding fathers wanted to protect with the First Amendment.

News organizations that take a stand do better than ones who don't. Fox is a perfect example. Newspapers are dying in America and thriving in the UK, where each paper has a political political bent. London has about 40 active newspapers for God's sake. Each one of them takes a stand on issues and promotes a cause.

News organizations are owned by major corporations who answer to stockholders. As with any company, the emphasis is more on how to grow the customer base or how to attract a larger audience.

"all too ready to cast integrity aside in attempts to claw their way to the "top" of their profession." You could be describing big business, banks or Wall Street (or politicians).

Even the person who posted this has a political bent and made the headline fit their way of thinking. It could just have easily have been labeled "Conservative Thug Tries To Disrupt Campain Stop By Mayoral Candidate."
