What did Bush accomplish during the 8 years he was in office? Just trying to compare.

I chose 8.
It always comes down to the same question.
Am I living better than I was 2 years ago?
NOPE

Actually you need to ask if you are better off than you were 4 years ago. That is when the Dems took control of both houses and started the spending spree.

Stopped Clinton's recession and gave us one of the shallowest recession in history. Had to clean up the Enron and Worldcom mess that Clinton ignored. Had to deal with 9/11 that would never have happened had Clinton taken out Osama one of the 3 times he was handed to us. That attack cost our economy million s of jobs and over $1 trillion dollars. And with all of that he sill created over 8.1 million jobs in the first 6 years until the Dems took over both houses and has since lost over 8 million jobs in the last 4 years. And in the first 6 years, they weree creating hundreds of thousands of jobs every month for 5 years straight, and he took unemployment bakc down to 5% after all of the messes he had to clean up. Then the dems took over both houses and all the bills and spending and we went to 10% unemployment. Pretty obvious when things changed. 2007-2008 when the Dems were in control.

What else did he accomplish?

He succeeded in not putting us TRILLIONS of dollars in debt.

He did not cram socialized medicine down our throats. BTW, the Treasury Department is placing the requirement of the "Qualified Health Insurance Premium" item on the W-2 to be reported on the Income Tax Return. As an accountant, I subscribe to IRS updates. The update came across a couple of weeks ago. It will more than likely go into effect on the 2011 year end returns. It is coming! THANKS TO OBAMA, PELOSI, REID, et al!

Here is a great chart that shows the difference. The R's took both houses in 2003 and look how 8.1 million jobs were created in 4 years until 2007 when the D's took over it was stagnent for about a year then and since then we have lost those 8 million jobs in 3 years. It is actually closer to 8.5 million since this chart only goes through the 1st quarter. Dems do not create jobs!! The R's controlled the Senate throughout Clintons last 6 years when they created over 20 million jobs too. So in the last 16 years, the R's controlled both houses almost 12 of them and created over 28 millioin jobs. in the 4 years the Dems controlled both houses, they lost over 8.5 million. Unemployment was low during CLinton and Bush when the R's controlled both houses, then the D's take both and the Presidency and the unemployment goes to some of the highest in history. The facts are clear.

It will be just one other thing for companies to do...but it doesn't increase taxes, it just shows the employee what the company spends on their behalf. Most don't know what employers spend for their health insurance.

Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!
