Ford said Tuesday its third-quarter net income rose 68 percent to $1.7 billion.
So they build a better product, cut expenses and negotiated with the union and now they are making a profit for 6 straight quarters and paying down the debt. They didn't ask for a bailout like GM and Chrysler did and they are doing better than those two. More proof that bailouts were a total waste and we need to follow Ford's example in our government. Ford reminds me of the Republicans, cut expenses, do things right and work your way out of a hole. THe other two remind me of the Democrats. Don't change anything and expect different results and then ask for the tax payers to bail you out because change would be too painful. :bash
