That's a little extreme Teddy. Can't we all just get along? ( Rodney King ). I guess not!!
When the election is over, I agree with PhotoFish that we should have a picnic or lunch and see that we are all neighbors, and most of us can be friends, even though we disagree ideologically. Nah!!! Never will work!! rofllol rofllol

Do you really believe that life is long enough to waste one second of what you have left on the human garbage that is liberalism? This is where I differ with most of the center right. Liberalism/socialism is smallpox, HIV, BSE, meningitis, anthrax, all rolled into one. And just like we do everything in our power to eradicate those threats rather than control them, so too should we strive to eradicate liberalism as opposed to trying to keep it under control. And the only way you do that is get rid of the hosts.
Well, the truth is that I consider some of them to be friends despite the differences in ideology. They can't help the fact that they believe what the drive-by media tells them. Take Scruffy for instance. He can't help the fact that he likes cartoons and Left-Leaning Comedic Shows like the Daily Show and Bill Maher, Steven Colbert, etc. He can't change how he was raised or the environment that he was raised in. He is still a decent guy when he isn't in his LJ persona. Well, sometimes he is. Maybe we should put them in indoctrination classes for 18 years like the Communist countries do. See, we can't do that, we are America, the Land of the Free, Home of the Brave, and all that. The only way to control things like this are through the ballot box, and that is next week, and then two years from now. Let's not stoop to their level like the ladies ( term used loosely) on the View.

Actually it would. The Lunches we have been having are great. there were about 11 people at the last one and I think I was the only Conservative and we all got along great. There may have been a couple moderates too.

Did Photo-fish mention his idea of building a bonfire with all of our political signs?! I think it'd be a great way to cleanse us of all the nastiness of campaign season with a big fire and beer! I'll bring my Bob Kinsey sign, lighter fluid, and a 12 pack of Corona if you bring your Tancredo sign, a lighter, and a bottle of wine!
"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
