Wow... Nmsys is right! It is fun just to comb the website and copy-and-paste outrage-of-the-day stories!! (And there are so many to choose from!)

Meg Whitman BOOED

California gubernatorial candidate and former eBay CEO Meg Whitman faced backlash on Tuesday after she declined a request to take down attack ads currently airing on behalf of her campaign against Democratic rival candidate and former Golden State Gov. Jerry Brown.

While Whitman was making a high-profile appearance alongside her opponent and outgoing Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger at the annual Women's Conference, NBC's Matt Lauer raised the idea of both candidates pulling their negative campaign spots from the airwaves. Put in the hot seat in front of 14,000 people, Brown said he would comply with the request so long as Whitman would as well.

"If Meg wants to do that, I'll be happy to do that. We can have a little discussion today and I'm sure we can work something out," explained the Democratic hopeful.

Perhaps this video goes along with the recent polls to show how much the electorate has truly shifted. Apparently Democrat Jim McGovern of Massachusetts thought that he could simply parrot a well-worn Democratic talking point and blame George W. Bush for the collapse of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and just about everything else.

Not only this, but he must be willfully forgetting the role of another Massachusetts Congressman Barney Frank and Connecticut's Chris Dodd in the fiscal crisis, as well. But McGovern appears to believe that going to this line will help him out.

Except, in Massacusetts, it doesn't.

How bizarre can you get during this debate that the anti-Bush speech is booed? That might actually be a first. They elected a Republican earlier this year and now this? Maybe they'll bring in Jim Demint to become governor next!

I saw the clip, didn’t read the huff post about it, but it was pretty clear the boos were from Jerry’s “brown shirt” supporters. All that shows is that Jerry’s supporters are a bunch of no class (if it’s brown flush it down) poopy heads.
