Good for them! I am glad we still have some youth that are not afraid to stand up for their beliefs!

I know I've probably asked you this before, but would you be okay with a school assembly where students are led in prayers where they kneel toward Mecca and pray to Allah?

I don't bow my head or close my eyes when I'm somewhere and people are praying and expect me to. I'll hold their hands. The ones I care about know what I believe, so I also don't make a big stink about not praying with them.

At school, unless it's a private religious school, keep your prayers private. No point in forcing it on those who do not believe as you do.

If you want to try to convert people, do it off school grounds and away from school events. If it's that important to you, you'll find a way to meet somewhere else.

why punish those who want to pray at sporting events, or for assemblys, when the muslims get special prayer time in public schools? I have my own faith, and I could careless what others pray about in public..

Do they really? Can you give some evidence that Muslims are getting preferential prayer treatment?

For what it's worth, Outdoor, I do not think they should be doing that. Keep religion out of schools, regardless of which religion it is.

Why ban christians from praying and allow muslims to have prayer time? PC is out of line, so IMHO, let everyone pray...until its fixed..

If they belived in it sure. And those who don't, don't have to, or can pray to their own God. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof. And I totally stand by that! Religion should be allowed by whoever wants where ever they want and government should not have the right to stop anyone from practicing thier religion no matter where they are. I am not like you and many others that wants our government to tell us when and where we can pray and practice our religion.
