Sheila Jackson Lee wants DOJ to monitor tea partiers at poll

I am all for it, along with acorn, and the new black panthers being monitored as well, bring it on!

Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) is asking the Department of Justice to investigate whether tea party groups are intimidating black and Hispanic voters in her district.

Jackson Lee has asked Attorney General Eric Holder to send poll monitors to her district on Nov. 2 to make sure the King Street Patriots, a local conservative voter turnout and tea party group, aren’t stopping people from voting.

“Many of these incidents of voter intimidation have been occurring in predominately minority neighborhoods and have been directed at African-Americans and Latinos,” she said in the letter. “It is unconscionable to think that anyone would deliberately employ the use of such forceful and intimidating tactics in 2010 to undermine the fundamental, constitutional right to vote."

I think we need UN monitors. That seems to solve rigged elections in third world countries.

http://www.kingstreetpatriots.org/ Yea, they look like a hate filled group based upon their website.

Here's the real reason why Jackson Lee wants monitors...

As I have found out, though, the truth is far different than the overheated claims of the extreme left. To see for myself what the heck is going on in Harris County, Texas, I hopped a flight from Chicago’s O’Hare and winged my way to the Magnolia City to visit with Catherine Engelbrecht, chief cook and bottle watcher of True The Vote and member of the King Street Patriots.

Some may recall that Engelbrecht made news back in September when she discovered that a former member of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) had registered over 23 thousand fraudulent voters in Texas.

Did I read that right? 23,000 fraudulent voters
