Gee, looks like NBC has just given the Virginia Senate race to Webb... That gives BOTH houses to the Dems...

Could we add David (KKK) Duke, and Randy "Duke" Cunningham to that ticket? (Oh, wait--Duke is in jail...)

But it might appeal to the same losers that Tancredo and Gingrich would appeal to...

Count up the number of new Senators, Congressmen, Governors, (and ultimately, Supreme Court Justices), and then tell me that we don't have a "mandate". Bush won by less than a full point and immediately started trumpeting about his "mandate"... Give me a break.

At least we can lay-to-rest the idea that somehow Bush was going to miraculously produce a captured or killed Osama bin Laden as the ultimate "October surprise." Not a surprise, really...But it was a nagging thought.

The scariest thing about this election is...

The extremely long-shot that we might have to endure 4 more years of Bush policies and the conservative damage that's been done for the last 8 years.

Oh, I hope so!! That will throw the GOP so far to the right, that will only be acceptable to the furthest right-wing values-voters, and you'll guarantee the middle and the left control for the next 100 years!

He won because he got the most votes from the people who were fed up with the 10 years of failed Republican rule, and destructive policies...
