"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill

Nope, I'm not a socialist, but it seems to please the conservatives here to label me as such.
I'm a fiscal conservative and a social liberal..I believe in a pay as you go government and that we have a responsibility to ensure that the American dream is accessible to ever citizen.
Meanwhile, I'm on vacation in northern arizona...that is more fun than posting here.
I'll comment on all this then. For the record..I won't miss Pelosi..though Boehner is hardly an improvement
Underneath it all it appears that Pineguy is a Fiscal Conservative and a Social Liberal, quite an improvement over the last few months.
Knowing that we still have a long way to go in taking back this country from the Socialist Agenda that has been imposed on us, I, for one, am pledging to be a more compassionate Conservative towards those Liberals on here who want to come somewhat closer to the middle of the spectrum. I'm not looking for Bi-partisanship, that is just weakness, but for less attacks on those who have differing views on what needs to be done.
Y'all might even consider joining in with the Tea Party Group here in the 285 Corridor as we monitor what the newly elected actually do in office.
This article talks about his Bio a little, sounds like an ok guy to me, I never knew much about him.
"Boehner was born Nov. 17, 1949, in Cincinnati as the second of 12 children in a working class family of Roman Catholic Democrats. But his parents' party affiliation didn't stick for Boehner."
"The teenage Boehner played linebacker for Moeller High School in Cincinnati and worked a variety of jobs, including pumping gas and mopping floors at his family's bar, to put himself through college in seven years and eventually become a millionaire businessman
"I've had every rotten job there ever was,...."

Republicans are red, democrats are blue, neither of them, gives a flip about you.
