Wow...It seem the Sheriff is adding up some no confidence votes early on. There is almost 200 votes difference in total ballots and votes cast for a candidate. Interesting!
Is anyone surprised by the numbers in the Sheriff's race?
Congratulations to Chris Sparks for a pretty darn good showing.
If my math is correct, an additional 782 voters chose not to vote for anyone at all in that race.
Interesting.
23% of the folks that voted are unhappy with the Sheriff and the entire other half of the county didn't even care to vote at all.
hmmmmm

Via the results I can see that a total of 7,146 people voted Med mj vote counts).
5,332 voted for Fred
733 voted for Sparks
resulting 1,081 not voting for either Fred or Sparks.
Fred 74.6%
Sparks 10.2%
No vote 15.2%
I can state that 10% of the County that voted is not happy with Fred. It is impossible to state if the 15% that didn't vote for the Sheriff are happy or unhappy. The CROP group has a glimmer of hope if they want to recall Fred in 6 months, but I think it would be a stretch to state that 25% of the people that voted are anti Fred or PCSO.
