Gerrymandering & Safe Districts

The politicians of both parties set up House districts to be safe and guarantee that incumbents stay in power. Plus it is cheaper that way if you only have to spend campaign cash on a few select races, but after last night, it looks like their gerrymandering isn't working. Senators do a much better job keeping their seats and 100 out of 435 House seats were in play. And most of those 100 switched sides.

Luckily the pols get to re-gerrymander a lot of states next year when they plug in the census numbers.
