(Nov. 3) -- A Democratic state senator who died last month was easily re-elected in California, denying the GOP the seat and probably forcing the governor to call a special election.
Sen. Jenny Oropeza was leading Republican challenger John Stammreich 58.4 percent to 35.7 percent, according to the latest vote count, The Sacramento Bee reported.
dist28.casen.govoffice.com California state Sen. Jenny Oropeza, who died Oct. 20, was re-elected Tuesday. Her name was on the ballot because she died so close to the election. If the results hold up, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger will call a special election.
Oropeza, who represented a district in Southern California's Long Beach area, died Oct. 20 at age 53 of complications from a blot clot in her abdomen. Because she died so close to the election, her name stayed on the ballot.
Same thing happened in Missouri. Mel Carnahan died in a plane crash before the election, but was still able to beat John Ashcroft. Dubya felt so sorry for Ashcroft, he made him Attorney general.
It has been proven over and over that the Dems and ACORN especially, register dead people. So now California is so backwards and desperate to keep thier extreme liberal agenda going, that they have dead people voting for dead people!!! rofllol rofllol rofllol
