I was watching cartoons when the news broke in and was reluctant to wake my father who was taking his nap. I finally decided to wake him and he told me to always wake him when a President gets shot.
I was in the County Recorder's office in Los Angeles where I worked searching title for a title company, and was in the process of proposing to my first wife. It turned out to be a bad day all around!!!!

I was in college.....in chemistry lab when we heard the news on a scratchy little radio. I broke my separation funnel when I lunged to turn up the volume. It was an awful couple of days before the college sent us all home a few days early for the Thanksgiving holiday. The funnel cost me over 30 bucks, the loss of JFK cost me, and this country, many years of "what if's" and a profound feeling of promise unrealized.

rofllol This country will will continue to suffer for many decades to come from the Kennedy klan legacy. The less of them there are the better it is for America.
