That's why we got rid of him and he never ran again after this all came out. Unlike the Dems and Rangel and Waters who not only keep runing after all there crimes come to light, but the Libs actually vote them back in.
Of course, DeLay may have to go to a plastic surgeon to have that perpetual "Joker" grin removed from his face. Perhaps when he's standing in front of the judge for sentencing he may be a little more serious about his predicament. Nah... He's probably like Scooter Libby...He won't believe it's really happening until it's already done and they lead him away in handcuffs...

Hey, now at least he'll be known as the best ballroom dancer in his cell block. Shake that booty, Tom!

Sen. John Ensign (R-NV) -- yes, that Sen. John Ensign -- thinks he can convince the voters of Nevada to grant him another term in office in 2012.
Broke and under investigation for trying to cover up an affair by allegedly funneling contracts to his mistress' husband, Ensign doesn't have the kind of resume recruiters generally look for when trying to populate the ballot.
64% of GOP primary voters in Nevada approve of Ensign's job performance to only 23% who disapprove. He's particularly strong with conservative voters who give him a 71/16 approval spread.
Wow... I guess "crimes coming to light" actually AREN'T a barrier for running again and again... I guess that's only a bad thing if you're not a Rightie... But the Cons will probably vote them back in.
I do see a difference in ethics violations and felonies, but hey, they all seem to believe they are above the law once they take office, in that there is no difference between Republicans and Democrats.
