I think Clinton has Haiti territoriality marked.

I am never going to donate to a Clinton/Bush pleading again. We send the money to the hell holes of America and to Caribbean and nothing changes for the people.

Hell, most of the $ is still sitting in US bank accounts and hasn't been given to the people.

I have to wonder how much $ will remain after years of service and admin charged against the funds sitting in the bank.

I wish I could afford the time to do an audit on three funds:

Katrina Fund
Haiti Fund
and the BP Oil Spill Fund.

I remember when politics attracted well educated, highly intellectual individuals, who did not have an interest in the power the "job" gave them but, instead wanted to make this country the model for democracy, improve the lives of it's citizens and citizens of the world. Now, all I see is mediocrity in current day politicians. Sarah Palin frightens me, she is akin to Paris Hilton, famous for being famous, no substance. Obama is ignorant of world politics and so is Palin, only worse since she doesn't have 'people' to inform her as Obama does. She stated a few weeks ago that North Korea was our allie! http://juicytings.com/politics/sara-pal ... our-allie/ This country is in trouble because those that could lead do not seek leadership and the buffoons that have led over recent years do not have a clue.

have faith. that is why you see so many people becoming involved and being called extremists for doing so. i am forever thankful to watch people get really pissed with the current crop of baffoons and will either step in or support a candidate that will do the will of the people. it is coming - watch 2012! there is a group of us already at work in our local community - not waiting til 2012. i spent every last dime i had and worked my fingers to the bone for a candidate who didn't win but came close. i will do it again.

bumper sticker - honk if you will pay my mortgage

"A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned - this is the sum of good government." Thomas Jefferson

Kind of like the smart folks who informed Obama that he'd visited all 57 states during the campaign? Folks will occasionally say something other than what they intended Whats Up, especially if they do it for a living and they aren't reading their impromptu thoughts off of a teleprompter or prepared notes sitting on the lecturn. A misstatement is not the same as not knowing at all.

That said, I agree with you regarding your opinion of most of the politicians running around this nation, and the globe in general. We haven't seen the likes of a Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, George Washington or even a Grover Cleveland for many a moon, at least not for the last 100 or so years. I would think the last 2 that came close to such a high bar were Harry Truman and General Dwight D. Eisenhower, and they were the only ones I would even think worth considering in that light from the last century that sat behind the desk in the Oval Office.
