Sarah Palin’s Presidential Strategy, and the Economy She Depends On

The Republican establishment doesn’t get it. Celebrity is part of The Palin Strategy – as is avoiding the insider game. She doesn’t want to do what Huckabee, Pawlenty, Gingrich, or Romney have to do. She has an outside game.

Palin’s game plan is directly related to America’ white working class, and the economy it faces – and the economy it’s likely to continue to experience for years.

Raking in gobs of money for herself seems to be the Palin strategy to me.

yes it seems to be working doesn't it? and you would begrudge her that on her way to becoming better known?

if it isn't palin in 2012 i sincerely believe it will be someone supported by the tea party and others who are totally fed up with the insiders.

Her book "Going Rogue" has its name because she became governor by being rogue from both parties. It seems reasonable that she may run as an independent. It is an interesting read, whether you want ammunition, give support, or just curious.

Not at all. I just don't want that kind of attitude in an elected official. It makes them ripe for influence from lobbyists and special interests. There are too many of politicians like that now. We don't need another one.

You have that kind of attitude in your President, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, etc. pushing through bills against the will of the people, knowing damn well that no one wanted them. Remember, we have to pass this bill so we can read it?

Only when it is a Conservative is it wrong!!!

I don't think that only when it's conservatives it's wrong. I think when people are elected into office from any party and use it as a platform to make money, it's wrong.

Do you know what many elected officials do when they leave office in Washington? They become lobbyists because they know how the system works and can more easily maneuver it.

Like I said, there are many politicians like that now -- on both sides of the aisle.

I think that Sarah Palin got access to a time machine and is sending back images of America during her presidency. Or maybe she's in Haiti for publicity.

I think Clinton has Haiti territoriality marked.

I am never going to donate to a Clinton/Bush pleading again. We send the money to the hell holes of America and to Caribbean and nothing changes for the people.

Hell, most of the $ is still sitting in US bank accounts and hasn't been given to the people.

I have to wonder how much $ will remain after years of service and admin charged against the funds sitting in the bank.
