But I am advocating life without parole. After all the mandatory appeals have been exhaused they are sentenced to life without parole instead of death.
I do not want to see them rehabilitated to function legally in society. Also believe that this sentence would be a deterrent moreso than the death penalty. As you said "in more than one case, the perpetrator himself (they've all be men) has asked for the death penalty".
