CNN to host first Republican debate in New Hampshire

You can really feel the thrill of the season, can’t you? Republicans filling their sleighs with high hopes and heading over the river and through the woods to Iowa and New Hampshire. Now, like the coming of It’s a Wonderful Life, comes a date certain for our first GOP debate in New Hampshire, the “First in the Nation” state–at least to politicos.

CNN announced today it would host the Republican candidates’ debate, in association with New Hampshire’s Union Leader and WMUR-TV. It’s set for June 7, 2011.

Wow, that's just 175 days away....

Can you just for once TRY to comment on the topic and not on the poster, or is that too hard?

Yeah, I changed my screen name again. I do it because it drives you nuts. If you want to comment on that, start your own discussion.

I think smart Republicans will avoid this debate. The CNN moderators will try to tar the whole bunch and any they miss will be smacked by fellow Republicans.

Until I see a better candidate, I will support Rand Paul.

I just want to see Palin in a debate with others of her own party. If she ends up in the debate she'll be the frontrunner and the one everyone else goes after. No amount of winks will get her out of that.
