Sen. John Kerry once disparaged the troops by saying only the poor and stupid joined the military, but soon it will only be the elite physical and intelligent who can serve.

To say it is because of poor education is not true. Typically it is only the lazy and stupid kids that cannot succeed in college or a private business that choose to go a recuriters office and attempt to join the military. They do that because they have no other options.

You are so far out in left field you climbed the fence and went into the corn field. Your statement, why don't you give some documentation to proof what you just said. Considering that the military is made up of some pretty intelligent individuals. Considering now that most services require promotion to the Senior NCO ranks to have a degree.
