And what does this say about public schools when almost 1 in 4 can't get into the military because of a poor education.

Sen. John Kerry once disparaged the troops by saying only the poor and stupid joined the military, but soon it will only be the elite physical and intelligent who can serve.

Thats because 50% of American parents are constantly attacking the greedy school teachers and their lucrative (22k a year) compensation packages..

The reason is because 95% of liberals feed them free lunches and socialist indoctrination with free education.

Wrong and a stereotype. Total bull, actually. The number of A students applying for delayed entry to all branches of the military, especially from our schools up here, is higher than ever. Go ask, don't rely on some Faux news style statistics.

Yes, kids wash out - but did you know they can be DQed just for having poor hygeine? They don't shower on exam day, and that's enough, no matter how high they score on the exam.

I know at least three people who enlisted after getting college degrees, then again my nephew washed out during the worst part of the Iraq conflict because he didn't even bother getting a GED.

You are so far out in left field you climbed the fence and went into the corn field. Your statement, why don't you give some documentation to proof what you just said. Considering that the military is made up of some pretty intelligent individuals. Considering now that most services require promotion to the Senior NCO ranks to have a degree.

Thats as old as dirt Navy? Common knowledge. Judges used to offer kids the choice between jail or the Army, and most of the military is made up of kids from places like Nowheresville Nebraska, Bumblefuk Idaho, and WherethefukamI West Texas. Where did you grow up, honestly now?

So that explains why you could never join up. I grew up all over, as my father was in the Army, and that policy has been dead for along time. but just for your info, I was born right here in Colorado
