Fired Workers (illegals) protest at Chipolte

Chanting in Spanish and wearing Santa hats, about 50 fired Chipotle workers and their families crammed into the Mexican chain's Nicollet Mall restaurant in downtown Minneapolis at lunchtime Wednesday, protesting what they called unjustified firings around the state following a federal investigation over their legal status to work in the U.S.

Through interpreters, they also asked for an additional 90 days on the payroll

Good for Chipolte, bad Chipolte for keeping some of then around for so long. It's a start and sends a strong signal. I think, I'll go down the hill and have a burrito. :biggrin:

I am pretty sure the burrito makers at my Chiplotes are illegal but they sure make great burritos. I went to another Chipoltes with gringo teens working and the food wasn't nearly as good.

Congress, please give out more worker visas for Chipolte!
