Sen. Majority Leader Harry Reid has a message for Tea Party activists who have upended the political landscape in the past two years : Don't quit your day job.

The Nevada Democrat, who prevailed last November in a tough re-election race against Tea Party-backed candidate Sharron Angle, isn't convinced that the movement will be a lasting political force.

the Tea Party, the best thing that could happen for the Democrats. With out the help of the Tea Party, Colorado would have had a Republican Senator and Governor, Nevada would have had a Republican Senator, Delaware would have had a Republican Senator, the Republicans would have a majority in the US Senate. The tea party "the real deal"? surely you jest....but we love it....now if only you can get them to push for their darling Palin to be the Republican nominee for president, their damage will have been completed, and democrats can get back to the job of moving this country forward rather than the conservatives taking it backwards.
