One movie I never see mentioned in any context let alone this one is "The Postman".

Some liberal messages are great, some conservative messages are great.
I consider "Grapes of Wrath" as extremely liberal in its day and "To Kill a Mockingbird" as quite conservative.
Take the good of both sides, discard the chaff.
