Nmysys, the ACLU is quite a mixture of issues. Some of which I disagree; some of which I agree. Concerning those issues that are repugnant, I let them know quite often that they are out in left field. But without the ACLU the citizens of the U.S. would be in a very sorry pickle.
I understand! Wasn't arguing the point. Just not fond of the ACLU. It's kind of like the Unions. Back when they were formed they were a real benefit to the common working man. Today they stand for power only. I feel a lot the same about the ACLU. It has been a long time since I felt that they were standing for things that I felt were for the people. Just my opinion, we each have our own.
