The latest in a growing trend of violence along our country’s border, a family is mourning the loss of one of their own after an I.C.E. agent was shot and killed at a road block about 100 miles north of Mexico City.
Many are saying that a prominent drug cartel is responsible, so now the big question that remains — were the government agents deliberately targeted?

U.S. officials say Jaime Zapata, a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent, was killed and another agent wounded while driving through northern Mexico Tuesday.
Advocates for stronger border security on Wednesday called for stepping up the U.S. offensive to stop murderous drug cartels terrorizing Mexico after an Immigrations and Customs Enforcement agent was killed a day earlier.
"This tragic event is a game changer. The United States will not tolerate acts of violence against its citizens or law enforcement and I believe we must respond forcefully. This should be a long overdue wake-up call for the Obama administration that there is a war on our nation's doorstep," said Rep. Michael McCaul, R-Texas.
So far there is two different stories about what happened. Either way you look at it, it appears as they were singled out. Do we send the military into Mexico. NO. Do we put the military on the border. They are there already but in more in a support role. Let them patrol, simple ROE. If there is a guy or a threat, they turn towards the US, then shoot to kill. Then hand out flyers saying you want to sue the US, go for it. Time for the live fire training on the border.
