All that serves labor serves the nation. All that harms is treason. If a man
tells you he trusts America, yet fears labor, he is a fool. There is no
America without labor, and to fleece the one is to rob the other.
-Abraham Lincoln-

I have a feeling these votes will come back to haunt them big time!

Parents are getting angry in Wisconsin over closed schools
http://www.todaystmj4.com/news/local/116416679.html

Angry parents that didn't get the call showed up to school to drop off their kids.

Parents left not knowing what to do, and were fed up.

"This is their job!" said Brian, an upset parent.

"Their job is not to go to Madison and protest. If they want to protest, do it on their own time. Don't do it when we're paying them."

More than 40% of the teachers in the Glendale-River Hills School District called out sick to go protest Governor Scott Walker's budget repair bill in Madison, leaving a gaping hole.

Wisconsin Dems have been located in Rockford, IL. Simply pathetic, they should return and do the job they are being paid to do.

And the Repubs can't get out of the capital because they are afraid of being heckled by THOUSANDS of pissed off teachers/voters.

The Dems are not worried about law enforcement pursuing them and dragging them back to the capitol. Though the current proposal exempts state police, he said that individual officers had privately expressed solidarity with the Dems' and public employees' cause.

"They understand the importance of workers banded together to protect workers rights," Larson said, characterizing his conversations with officers. "They understand why we're here."

Dems will not return, Larson vowed, "until the Republicans are prepared to listen to the effects of this bill on workers and what it will do to our state."

Who is John Galt?

I guess if all the people who do the work suddenly disappear, they'll figure it out...

I'm sure that will endear voters to support the teachers. NOT! You will have a bunch of pissed off parents who will just think the Teachers are greedy and not willing to pay their fare share like the rest of us have to.
