Actually kind sir, the steroids are for a back injury and are the last attempt at healing before a surgery has to be performed. Thanks for your concern.

Hmm..... no reply. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Nymsis and Outdoor just made the list.

They are rather lacking in the social graces TM....it's not in their nature to apologize for their crude remarks.....I know this as well as anyone as i have gotten some crude joking remarks about my being house bound because of chemo. Like that is a choice. So, chalk it up to their being classic jerks. I think it was nmysys that said he has no sympathy for his enemies, but it could have been outdoor or major bean....or any one of the conservatives....they are much like clones of each other.

I hope your injection works, my husband has had 2 so far for sciatica and disk pain, but no real relief so far, he will get one more and then surgery if necessary. I understand your pain.....it's not a lot of fun.

I now return you all to the regularly scheduled thread, perhaps we can carry on without the crude interruptions from a few un-named conservatives.

if you all have ever been to a naturalization ceremony, you know how impressive and meaningful they are. it is a great priviledge to live in this country and be a new citizen, I wish Maria much success as an American.

TM, sorry I sleep at night and hardly wait for any post from you so early in the morning, and your back issue..get the surgery, meds will not help it..they will only mask it. From past experience. PM me if you want to talk about it..

Archer, please tell us who said crude remarks about your chemo? Its getting old, lets face it, you're on the road to recovery (you have told us that)..yet..you keep dropping the chemo bomb on us, why not really tell us how your doing? Instead of attacking anyone and everyone with a R behind their name and blame them for the remark from one person. I can tell you that Nmysys, myself, MB, BB, RJ, Bear, trouble, etc..and the rest of us have said nothing about your chemo or you being house bound because of it. I think you owe, several of us an apology..enough is enough archer.

I have never called you an enenmy, you better find out who that was before blaming everyone for that. archer, you need some help, if you keep using remarks from people speaking of your past (health issues) and using them to fuel your bitterness towards the rest of us, you will never get well emotionally..it will create additional health problems. My apologies to Maria - back to the topic now. So Grady, can you tell us what steps and costs were involved in Maria's quest for citizenship? I'm curious to know if it really something that is attainable for anyone if they just work at it.
