UNFORTUNATELY, the "messiah" thing was alive and well during the campaign. Those of us who
could see down the road, KNEW it was a fantasy and UNDERSTOOD that no one person could FIX the fubar. That is would take MANY YEARS.
It was scary to observe the behavior of some "believers". I was at a meeting at what was then
Raven's and observed people ENTHRALLED and almost 'trance like" as they were viewing the TV
with O's image......NO ONE could live up to that expectation....it was unrealistic and naïve. JMO

Agreed. And the Palin worship on the part of certain conservatives was just as misplaced.
