Of course this is from a blog with a right wing bias. I would welcome a kinder, gentler liberal version of this incident.
"Columbia University students heckled a war hero during a town-hall meeting on whether ROTC should be allowed back on campus.
"Racist!" some students yelled at Anthony Maschek, a Columbia freshman and former Army staff sergeant awarded the Purple Heart after being shot 11 times in a firefight in northern Iraq in February 2008. Others hissed and booed the veteran"
there is no excuse for that kind of behavior.....I'm surprised that their fellow students didn't point that out to them rather "forcefully"....I would have been embarrassed if i were a student there, and yeah, probably would have said something really, really nasty to them. I'm not good at keeping my mouth shut when I see injustice and stupidity.

You can hardly call them the "peaceful" left.....any more than protesting at veterans funerals is part of the religious right. Yep.....that surely is a "you do it too" post on my part, because....yep, we all do it!!!!!!!
:rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl
It doesn't matter RIGHT _ LEFT_ MIDDLE
Our people have lost their MORAL COMPASS,COMPASSION and RESPECT.
And no I didn't say anything about religion.
I am speaking of common decency.
It is a shame we cannot converse without calling names and being rude.
Our young people are being taught it is OK to out shout the other opinion to make theirs the only one the at heard.
