Actually that sounds exactly like the Tea Party.

Yes, well if I can't get my point across without those silly emoticons, I will refrain from trying.

Outdoor, the Libs are out in force today, because they have nothing else to do on a lovely day. Let them rant and preach to their choir.

Soulshiner:

Get used to the Tea Party. Unlike the Democrats we aren't going anywhere and we don't have to continually re-invent ourselves to try to find a tactic that will work. We know what works, showed it in November, Vote the Dems out. Worked pretty well, didn't it???

It was said that the Tea Party wanted to vote out the incumbents, but now you have proven that it is only about voting out the Dems. The Tea Party shows it's true colors more and more each day. 2010 was one election, don't get all high and mighty about one election in which the Teabagger candidate in Colorado almost made the Republican party a minority party. I wouldn't call that winning big to working pretty well, more like losing big. Remember in 2008, the momentum was with the Dems, but the public has had a desire for change. The public is learning more and more about the Teabaggers each day. They aren't about change, they are about going back to the "Good Old Days" when angry white men could force everyone else to obey their wishes. When the Teabaggers come out from under the Republicans skirt and become their own entity, then we will know how much support they really have. The 08 and 10 elections were about change and if the Republicans can't show true change, it will swing back again in 12. If the Tea Party actually becomes about true change instead of pissing and moaning about the "Progressive" agenda, then it might survive. But I seriously doubt that it will.
