Civility has died.

We all now have license to spout vulgarities whenever we wish. Welcome to the political game of the 21st century. Take off the gloves and start bare knucling it - we're not sure who started it, but everyone's playing along with gusto.

Yes, the tea party movement is responsible — for sending these liberal goons into an insane rage, that is. After enduring two years of false smears as sexist, racist, homophobic barbarians, it is grassroots conservatives and taxpayer advocates who have been ceaselessly subjected to rhetorical projectile vomit.

This is what I made that statement about NavyCPO7!

Better go take a close look in the mirror, from what I read on here, you are no better than what you complain and whine about others doing. Lets see, the old saying of "Practice what you preach" mean anything.

I am now surprised that you think that, but then since you are coming off now as one of the Elitists that seem to know everything, maybe I shouldn't be so surprised. For your information, the one thing I do, is Practice what I preach!!!

You have never read of me making any racist remarks have you or heard any from me when you were around me? Just because you may not agree with what the Tea Party Group here in this area believes in, I would think that comes down to your not ever attending any of our meetings and taking what you may have read from others as the gospel. You do seem to be becoming quite judgmental lately, I agree with Trouble on that one.

Let me enlighten you.

1st I have not and will not attend your so called Tea Party meetings. Not gonna happen. I do not need another political party with thier agenda to voice what in my own opinion is wrong with this country. My opinons may be right or wrong to all out there, but they are my damn opinons. I do not need to go to meetings or anything else for that purpose. As for your little BS elitists remark, again, not even close. I do not and am not one or your elitists. Now so you can understand this also. I never said you made a racist remark, so that is not even an issue, but if you like we can go back in time and look at the crap you spewed at different times against certain individuals. I am no angel by far, but I am not on here making remarks like you did, then turn around and do the exact opposite of what I said. The last point, I take nothing as gospel. Being in the military you learn one very important thing. Seeing is believeing. that simple. Not judgemental at all. I can be. So when you make comments like this against those that do not agree with you, or what you do not like, or call certain individuals names (oh sorry need to use your words what are you being. What since you are now a tea partier member, its ok. Give me a damn break. and I am not the only one on here that has noticed this. You made a comment, I responded. The big difference between you and I, I am not smart enough so I have to look things up and read things and research. I believe both liberals and conservatives have good and bad. I believe that the good guys want what is in the best interest of this country. The bad they can just go away. Even some of those elected under the tea party banner a couple are pretty damn good, but they like the rest have good and bad. If I go by what you put down, if you aren't with the Tea Party then you are corrupt. Everyone has thier own opinions and thoughts, sometimes I even go overboard on how I respond to them, Me I am a very insignificant part of the world. I do not make a difference anywhere. so you believe what you want. My statement stands.

I only have one reply NavyCPO7:

I have never made the remark that if you are not with the Tea Party you are corrupt. Not only have I never said that, I don't believe it. Personally I am of the opinion that Politicians are like Diapers, both need to be changed!

I'm of the opinion that many people on this thread should PRACTICE what they preach. Based on my experience and knowledge, hypocrisy runs rampant! I see little to no courtesy and/or respect being extended to others, especially on some of the threads I read!! I see a high school mentality with regards to the name calling and treatment of others.

I personally don't give a damn about an individual's political agenda. What I do care about is that there are those that want rights extended to them, and yet, they don't extend those very same rights to others simply because their lives, thoughts, opinions and/or ideas differ from their own.

I don't need a political party, group, club and/or organization to tell me or try to teach me the difference between good and bad or right and wrong or what is versus what isn't acceptable behavior!

So much for being a nation of respect, tolerance and acceptance!

It seems to be "Run the other party down" (as evidenced by the title of this discussion) instead of explaining what your party can do that's better than the other party. And and it seems to have escalated. This forum is filled with DAILY slams and little of what good a party is doing.

It reminds me of the negative political ads we get bombarded with during elections. You know, the ones that turn us all off. So why does it persist here on a daily basis?
